Three No-Bake Layered Treats with Sugar Bowl Bakery Madeleines

If you’re looking for a beautiful, easy, crowd-pleasing dessert for spring or summer, these layered jars are the perfect solution. Made with Sugar Bowl Bakery Madeleines, creamy vanilla mascarpone filling, and fresh fruit or coffee flavors, they feel elegant but take very little effort.

Serve immediately with whipped cream, or refrigerate and finish later perfect for entertaining.

Flavors:

  • Strawberry

  • Blueberry

  • Coffee Tiramisu Inspired

Ingredients (Makes 3 Jars)

Base:

  • 12 Sugar Bowl Bakery Madeleines (4 per jar)

  • 1 tub of BelGioioso Vanilla Mascarpone (8 oz)

  • 1 container frozen whipped topping (thawed)

  • Fresh whipped cream (optional topping)

Flavor Add-Ins:

Strawberry

  • Fresh strawberries

  • Sugar

  • Small squeeze lemon juice

Blueberry

  • Fresh blueberries

Coffee Tiramisu Inspired

  • 100 ml cold brew coffee

  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Step 1: Make the Cream Filling

In a bowl, whip together:

  • 1 tub Belgioiosio Vanilla Mascarpone (8oz)

  • Whipped topping (frozen)

Mix until smooth, light, and fluffy. Set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Flavor Layers

Strawberry

Slice strawberries. Toss with sugar and a small squeeze of lemon juice. Let sit 10–15 minutes until juicy.


Blueberry

Use fresh blueberries as is.


Coffee Tiramisu Inspired

Lightly dip or drizzle Madeleines with cold brew coffee before layering.


Step 3: Assemble Each Jar

Use this layering method for all three flavors:

  1. Add a layer of cream filling.

  2. Add 2 Madeleines.

  3. Add fruit or coffee element.

  4. Add another layer of cream.

  5. Add 2 more Madeleines.

  6. Finish with a final layer of cream.

 

Step 4: Finish Two Ways

Serve Immediately version:

  • Top with fresh whipped cream.

  • For the coffee jar, dust with cocoa powder.

  • Serve right away for a soft, creamy texture.

Make Ahead

  • Do not add whipped cream.

  • Seal jars with lids and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

  • Add whipped cream and cocoa just before serving.

Chilling allows the Madeleines to absorb flavor and become extra tender, similar to a trifle.
